Software Products

The following location-enabler software products are available. Let us know if you need other location-enablers to serve your industry. All of our software products are available on the following platforms:

  • As a stand-alone Desktop Application.
  • As an ActiveX Control that you can embed in your Enterprise Application.
  • As an IIS ASP.Net Web Application to host on your intra/internet.
  • On a fee-based outsourced web service model that you can access over the internet.

Geocoders:

Geocoders take in a street address and return a location on a map - expressed in earth's longitude/latitude. Geocoding is the essence of any GIS application. It enables you to infer location-specific information derived from overlaid data layers we also provide. Whether you are geocoding addresses interactively one address at a time, or in batches of 1000's of addresses, we have the Geocoders you need for your application. We currently have Geocoders for the U.S. and Canada. Check this section regularly as we add new countries.

U.S. School & School District Locator:

The School District Locator looks up school district information for a given address in the U.S. The engine first geocodes addresses. It then figures out the school districts these address fall in along with available school district information on academics, demographics, funding, and other metrics.

U.S. Indexer:

This engine has an embedded Geocoder. Given an address, it looks up parameters of your interest. There are literally hundreds of parameters you can lookup and append to this engine as data layers. The engine looks up data layers you specify and indexes them on a scale of 1-100 for comparison. The available layers are:

  • Natural Hazards: seismic, wind, hurricane, tornadoes, hail, flood, volcano, lightening, coastal erorision, termites, etc.
  • Weather: wind, temperatures, pressure, humidity, precipitation, snow fall, visibility, sunshine, etc.
  • Demographics: population, income levels, level of education, ethnicity, housing prices, age and work groups, crime level, etc.
  • Health: UV exposure, pollen, birth/mortality rates, cancer rates, acid rain, pollution, etc.
  • Inventory: building inventory, Land Use/Land Cover (LULC), elevations, agriculture, airports, hospitals, emergency facilities, dams, etc.
  • Directory: Business Phone Directory, telephone area codes, streets database, etc.
  • School: school and school district information (see School & School District Locator above)
